Corrosionresistance
926isanausteniticstainlesssteelalloyhasasimilarchemicalcompositionwith904Lalloy,itsnitrogencontentis0.2%,molybdenumcontentis6.5%.Molybdenumandnitrogencontentsignificantlyincreasedtheresistanceofpittingandcrevicecorrosioninthehalidemedia.Meantime,nickelandnitrogennotonlyensuresthestabilityofmetallographical,butalsoreduceseparatingintergranulartrendinthethermalprocessorweldingprocessbetterthanthenitrogencontentofnickelalloy.926hasparticularcorrosionresistanceinthechlorideionsmediumduetotheexcellentlocalcorrosionresistanceand25%nickelalloycontent.Avarietyofexperimentsinthe-ppmofChlorideconcentration,PH5-6,50-68℃operatingtemperatureoftheslurryoflimestoneFGDsystemshowthat,aftera1-2yeartrialperiod,926alloywithoutpittingandcrevicecorrosion.926inotherchemicalmediaalsohasgoodcorrosionresistanceinthehightemperatureandhighconcentrationofmedia,includingsulfuricacid,phosphoricacid,acidgas,seawater,saltandorganicacids.926isthematerialthatchoosedforBAMdirectoryChapter6of"dangerousgoodsstorageandtransportationcontainersnorms"byBerlin,Germany'snationalInstituteforMaterialsResearchandTesting(BAM).Inaddition,inordertohavethebestcorrosionresistanceonlywhenthematerialisintherightstateofmetallurgyandguaranteecleanconditions.
